Also the Taliban just captured a major city in Southern Afghanistan. Worst thing we ever did was get involved in that shithole, should of just carpet bombed it and then left them to their 6th century ways. All those Western soldiers literally died for nothing.
i've seen them use it in documentaries about Syria of all things too.

Afghanistan's currency fell to its lowest value against the US dollar since 2001 on Monday.
One dollar was sold for 71.10 afghanis during the day, which is the lowest since January 2001 when one dollar was sold for 76.96 afghanis. Amin Jan Khosti, a member of Afghanistan Money Dealers Union, said that insecurity and political instability are main reasons behind fall in the value of afghani. He also blamed “weakness in central bank’s management” for the problem. This comes as the central bank has decreased the level of selling dollars in the country’s markets. With the fall in the value of afghani, prices of food items, especially rice, flour and oil have increased. The central bank declined to make comment on the matter.

Taliban insurgents killed 32 police overnight in Afghanistan's southern province of Zabul, sources told 1TV Saturday.
It happened after militants attacked checkpoints in Arghandab district. Ata Jan Haq Bayan, head of provincial council, said that the insurgents seized four checkpoints. He confirmed death of 22 police and wounding of seven others. Zabul has suffered heavy clashes in recent days in its Daichopan, Mizana, Arghandab and Naw Bahar. The official warned of fall of districts if assistance is not delivered. The latest violence in Zabul comes a day after Taliban killed dozens of police in western Farah province.

excellent for the taliban, the best effect of insurgency isn't capping territory but making people living in the government controlled territory to start questioning the legitimacy and the competence of the rulers to spark some dissent and unpopularity of the government and then capitalize on the chaos.

Exactly this. Yes, the "dancing boys tradition" is back in full swing, it had been outlawed and was punishable by death when the Taliban were in control. It's a good thing we brought "freedom and democracy ™" to these degenerates so more little boys could service their sexual needs.
