Since this is about Germans and Turks and it's a common myth often brought up ...
Turks had nothing to do with the "economic miracle"
(that happened because the allies bombed city centers rather than factories as there were too many to effectively target)
Guest workers were only brought to Germany to help the origin countries to balance trade deficits.
Turkey wanted this same deal, that Germany had with Italy and other neighboring countries that imported German goods.
Germany rejected the request by the Turkish government telling it that Turks are too culturally different.
But Germany was pressured to take Turkish workers because Turkey is a member of NATO and it going bankrupt might have a negative strategic impact.
So, Turkish workers were brought to Germany although they were neither needed nor wanted by the German economy and government.

You missed the part that they had nothing to do with rebuilding.
The industrial base of the country was not destroyed in the war, it was only unused as there were no raw materials available due to blockades.
Without the blockades the country could restart production of civilian goods, as a change to full war production never happened due to this lack of raw materials.
Any rebuilding that additionally took place happened before Turks came to Germany.
(and if more workers were needed there were already enough Italians, Spanish etc. available)
The only country economically benefiting from the deal was Turkey which avoided a possible economic collapse,
by guest workers sending money home, and being able to send jobless Turks to Germany.
Strategically we could say all of the NATO alliance was benefiting, but that's a different, and usually untold story.
