I went straight to uni and then into my own flat but the massive amount of rent I've paid between then and now at 34 is crazy, and now I just about have the deposit together for a really nice places.

But peers who went back home after Uni and lived with their parents until about 30ish are already well into paying their mortgages and will likely have their first flat paid off in like 10 years.
