The Democratic Republic of Congo's Ebola outbreak has entered "a new phase" after a case of the deadly virus was detected for the first time in the northwest city of Mbandaka, home to a population of about 1 million people, according to the country's health minister.

Also, good. The problem with the previous ebola was that Congo is heavily spread out and divided into smaller townships in rural parts. This makes it incredibly easy to contain a disease. That's why "only" 11,000 people died.
The "only" refers to the fact that they remain Africans and they actively work against all safety and health instructions from Western medical teams. If they had been normal people there would only have been a few 100 deaths.
Now that it's in a large city we should be able to see a few 100,000 deaths, potentially a spread across all of Africa.
