I am aware of the correlation. I agree that there is a big problem with fidelity and marital success and stability in society. But the correlation isn't anything ground breaking and we can't do anything about it. It is also possible that the pair bonding issue isn't because of them simply having sex with multiple previous partners but because of the type of person they are which would lead them to be that way in the first place. There are a metric load of factors to consider, it isn't so simple. I bet even someone who had a more conservative sex life due to social pressures who would have ended up with many more had they not existed would still be a problematic partner in regards to fidelity.
