Discouraging them from seeking help, pushing them towards accepting gender dysphoria as normal, pushing them towards HRT, pushing them towards SRS... and then they get the procedure done, they're sterilized and their body becomes a mutilated joke, and they're having to spend 6-7 hours a day jumping through hoops to make sure their fake dick or pussy doesn't rot off and battling suicidal depression from the pain and the hormones, and suddenly all their online friends are nowhere to be seen and if they reach out for help or try to discourage others from making the same mistake suddenly they're accused of being a bigot, or a fake tranny, or a self-hating tranny.

I don't hate trans people I encourage them to com to terms with the reality of their sex. We're all dealt certain biological hands when born and we have to play with what we got. HRT won't change your sex and neither does sex change op. Its just mutilation and chemical warfare on your body. You'll just end up less healthy and more fucked up in the brain than you were before.

Accept the reality of your circumstances and go forth. Keep your focus on bettering yourself in other ways instead of dwelling in what could have been.

Suicide rates are as high as they are because people wait. Gender dysphoria is shit, and generally catching early during puberty isn't an option(and it's not going to arise before puberty, this stuff with trans children is nonsense because they have no secondary sex characteristics and are barely cognizant of their primary ones). The more time a person's body has to transition, the better the result tends to be. Generally, if a person waits until past 25, it's too late(though women who transition to men have a better chance overall). As for using say more testosterone for a male, the problem you run into is that they'd develop more of the characteristics that cause dysphoria to begin with. It would only exacerbate the mental illness, so having that as treatment would be pretty awful.
