>muh women are oppressed
It's for purple-haired gender studies majors and single women with delusions of persecution.

The makers of this need to be asked what rights women in the West are deprived of. Crickets.

But it's like a fictional reality.
Besides, women are deeply oppressed. Especially now that Trump is president.

its anti-white male porn. all protagonistist characters are women/minorities, all antagonists are white males. women fantasizing over being important enough to subjugate with many feelings and emotions.

Wymmin are deebly obbressed now that Drumpf is bresident
Go to Saudi Arabia, then we'll talk about Western women being oppressed

Yes, but I mean, you can see how a reality like that can be made possible for women, right? I mean the president won just because he was a freaking male and favored because of it.

Men get away with rape, receiving more money for nothing, women get prosecuted more (and for their sexuality)

We're basically living in it now, and I hate it

No it's Jewish propaganda.

>divorce laws heavily favor women and go their way in 90% of cases
>men die in wars
>men commit suicide more
>men have 90% of job-related injuries and deaths.

Currently reading the book, haven't seen the show yet.

The book was written by Margret Atwood (widely known in Canada for being an annoying and petulant old woman) as a fictional account of what would happen to America if second wave feminism were to fail (relgio-totalitarian state where woman are enslaved, of course). It is a pretty ridiculous read to be honest. It is well written, but the premise is so exaggerated and ridiculous it is hard to take seriously.

From my understanding the TV series is a modern adaption supposing if modern third wave feminism were to fail, which much like in the original perverse worldview of Atwood results in an exaggerated and completely unbelievable.

The movie is meh, the TV show is better

We don't commit more suicide, we're just more successful when we do it. (ex. gun vs pills)

>anything atwood
>is it good
categorically no

Its awful, death to atwood

Isn't that the girl from Mad Men?

The best scene is Season 2 where they hang a group of whores in Fenway Park
>President Mike Pence will make this happe

Kys you white knight meme flag fag

this guy gets it

this is a blatantly cringe dog whistle of a persecution fantasy to the greasy fat cuntbeasts that works on the premise that at some point they'll be be forced to be actually useful to someone else. SAD!

There;s a scene in the first episode or something where she, her lesbo "friend" and her lesbofriend's totally straight "friend", smoke weed on campus and chat about how some lucky other totally straight friend of theirs was lucky enough to escape to canada

>tfw Margaret Atwood wrote the Handmaid's Tale based on her experiences while traveling in Iran

I figure the spineless cunt turned it to Christians because she wrote this around the same time Salman Rushdie got a fatwa for The Satanic Verses.

the absoulte irony that half of Hillary's campaign was centered around "breaking the glass ceiling" for women in politics. Then you assume and complain that someone got elected because of their gender.

really stimulates my vulva

>vulva

are there women without a benis?

haven't seen any around these parts
