A very relevant song today too. I'm from a "Burschenschaft" and also have my dueling scar "Schmiss". That song is a song we learned in elementary school back in the 1990s from our music teacher who was a Waffen SS soldier in WW2 as well. The song stuck with me through out my whole life because of the anti-free speech laws the allied powers have put on us but i think today in 2018 this song also fits for the British, French and other people who don't have freedom of speech
