It's too late for China right now until they revolt themselves. We need to exploit the weakness when they show to align them with us, again like in Iraq, we could have leveraged former Baath party members like we did with Nazis in West Germany to have a more competent government despite negative press. Yes, there are definitely problems with the current US political system due to the ability of corporations, foreign states, and coalitions of individuals bribing officials, as well as internal corruption/irresponsibility with self-regulatory measures, such as filibusters and gerrymandering. However, a revolution could easily rupture our network of external relations and create power vacuums in regions the US armed forces are forced to scale down their presence in. Look at France during its revolutionary era. They doled out former state industries and companies for political favors at the collapse of the Soviet Union, it's worse than the United States. Right now Putin has been the leader of Russia since 1999. He has changed the constitution to allow himself to serve multiple terms, using Medvedev as a puppet in the other nominal position. If you think they're going to be good for the world, you're wrong. They're still struggling to adapt their economy to not rely solely on petroleum product exports. They have a trashed political system where ballot box stuffing is a common occurrence. They have nothing of value to contribute to societies.

Eh, they've developed their own culture even if that's partially true, which it's not. Many of the Spanish genes have been diluted. They're distinct from the Spanish and Portuguese now.
What gave power to the people was the fact that they had land and contributed to society. As globalization took over, it technically got rid of those people and replaced it with cities and administrations, bureaucracies, etc
The ruling class came out of these, and what is happening now in todays time is, we have no hard workers anymore sad to say
After 2 world wars and spread of globalism, the world hasn't gotten so damn fragile and spoiled.
There are no more strong leaders, only actors and backstabbers This is the problem of today No matter what timeline you look at in any empire, this always becomes the problem.
All great empires sadly will do that, until they can understand what brought them to their ancestors height, only then can they rebuild themselves to glory
Corruption is everywhere, it's a human trait that gets abused tenfold with capitalism that has no consequence of or responsibility given to the person at hand
and I agree, a revolution would make things very difficult Can you imagine? The status quo breaking? Everyone is out for themselves, all the groups that have been planning finally rise up It'll be a gong show That is why people need to revolt together, peacefully and/or at least band together under the same ideologies that will create the new world.
