Sorry, Comrade, but nearly every single Communist country has had a famine, the majority caused by the state. The Soviet Union had a famine after putting the Kulak farmers into the gulag for being too efficient. 6 million died. Maoist China attempted the Great Leap Forward and had their farmers making iron/steel. At least 20 million died, many from starvation. North Korea is constantly in a state of famine, and it kicked off as its economy collapsed as its fellow Communist nations fell. How's Venezuela doing now?
