My core beliefs in freedom haven't actually changed at all, simply my understanding of society and its functions. I was an ancap because I thought that was the best method of attaining true freedom for people, but over time I've learned more and more that not only is that not true, but that freedom and capitalism are completely incomparable.

I became a communist BECAUSE I refined my knowledge of ideology and questioning the values I hold and conclusions I made because of them.

If you've had the same ideology you're entire life, I doubt you're well educated about political ideology in the first place.
