Notice how there's not a single fatality? People literally lived on top of where the fissure opened up yet not one single fatality has been reported. Hawaiian volcanoes are really not all that dangerous, despite all the lava shooting up in the air at the fissure and caldera, the flows move extremely slowly such that you'd have to literally just stand there for days or walk into the fissure itself to be a fatality.
I don't know why you autists are having these general threads. The likelyhood of a mega-tsunami is extremely low, I mean EXTREMELY low, and those events occur once every few hundred thousand years. This type of volcanic event occurs every few decades on Hawaii, even the explosive steam eruptions from the lava lake dropping below the water table. They are much more common that you would think.
