I go to both Japan and Korea for education and it is very similar, Korea seems more western despite being obviously different though. I mean, either way, Japanese women and Korean women are the same, Korea is just more sexualizing of the body and Japan is more culturally fetishizational. North East Asians are very similar, SK with it's free economy and Japan of its intimidating history. The Japanese are actually closely related to Koreans, the only big difference being that the Japanese have minor Jōmon and Yayoi blood. Suprsingly, both Koreans and Japanese are very (more so than you think) distant from the Chinese gene pool.

I noticed that more so in China during my short time down there. I mean, maybe it is just campus. I never notice it.
