That's true. The Irish Times/IPSOS Mori poll seems to be the most reliable at the minute. Breaks it down by age group, by gender, by social class etc. That's 44% Repeal, 32% Retain (or 58-42 taking undecideds out of the equation). Although polls in general are notoriously wrong, and it's too difficult to compare it from the 1983 referendum; just isn't possible.

People, I live in a country where some 60 million abortions have happened, they STILL feel isolated, alone, depressed, suicidal. It creates more crime, the "aftermath" is more deadly, it causes cancer, infertility, mental illness, all which adds to the crime pool. I'm one of 3 children born to a single mother and I don't have a criminal record nor do any of my siblings. I know several other people raised by single mothers and none of them have criminal records or are involved in criminality. All single mothers I know, and I know a good few, raise their kids well. I don't know any males who were raised by a single mother who are gay either. Single parent families may not be ideal but most women who are single mothers have stepped up to the challenge and done right by their kids and did good jobs raising them.
