The Fascist Italy economy is a much better model than Nazi Germany
Gavin Morris
Dunno for examples but I guess shit that was deemed crucial for the German economy. Btw you've got to take into account that Nazi Germany was prepping for a war so who knows - some factories would've been still private if Addy didn't know a war was on the horizon. Otherwise he privatised a lot of stuff in his first years.
Caleb Brown
True. It was much freer and less regulated than that of Nazi Germany.

What was a Fascist economy like?
Elijah Sanders
I had this problem too. Still can't find much beyond Hitler nationalizing the banks. People are always on here talking about the censorship of the holohoax, or about the destruction of military training manuals, but not about economic policies.
Luis Hall
Mostly laissez faire during the first 10 years, heavily interventionist after the foundation of the IRI (industry reconstruction institute, basically a government holding) which nationalized most banks and large industrial complexes after the Great depression. It came to own 50% of the total capital of the large corporations. There's no real fascist economy.

Nationalized companies would be Krupp Rheinmetal, Henschel or Volkswagen.
