Do you think the impact of finding other "life" would have any large impact on things here on earth assuming it would let us as a species leave the planet in mass if given the chance?
Let's say there's a 80% chance that we make contact what would the ramification's be for the different countrys?
Most importantly do you think that life can or does actually exist out there in the vastness of space?
well they're here, they've made contact, they'll never let us know about it because if we find out, the planet dies. that's the reason for the cover-up. there have been deals made, but finding out the bigger picture is much too horrifying for humanity (we are their food) and will never be accepted. it's how things are, there is not to be any friendly contact, we are their food, they have no interest in us other than that, be happy things are as they are because if the larger populace knew the truth we'd have to be eradicated. that's just the way it is. sorry. 9/11 was one of the deals made, btw. be glad it happened. anything other than that is going to be staged hollywood bullshit. trust me, this is all for the greater good. would you let ants and cockroaches live in your house? would you care to talk with them even if they really really wanted to? for how long? do you think they could teach you anything you didn't already know? even if they could would you let them crawl all over you while you slept and eat your food and ask for favors? We are a lesser species and are treated as such, just as we treat all other lesser species. we don't make good pets, so we are food at best, cockroaches at worst. be thankful for 9/11 it bought us another 1000 years. (or so). Just something I figured out, no proof, i'm probably wrong, eat more vegetables and don't worry too much about things.
Jackson Garcia
Yes, there's other life out there. The question is will it be intelligent life.
Jaxon Mitchell
Who cares? We are gonna die to the great filter soon enough.
Christopher Walker
Fermi has a thing or two to say about this, but we have a small problem. We’ve on,y been emitting radiation of any noticeable amplitude for 60 odd years, so outside of a 60 light year radius, no ay lmaos outside that would even have the foggiest that we are here, shitposting away in a galactic backwater, almost out on the rim of a fairly small spiral galaxy in the middle of bumfuck nowhere in terms of the observable universe. We haven’t even sent life one AU yet.
The impacts of ay lmao contact are a different thing altogether. Let’s not put the cart before the horse just yet.
I’d still like to see some Special Circumstances tier meddling tho
Dude they really did enslave earth adn leave a long time ago...
All religion is based off of Alien enslavement of humanity... That does NOT mean that there is not a Creator of the Universe
Zachary Harris
I definitely don't think we are food. But I definitely agree on them being here, and making contact. As crazy as you may sound, I've seen my share of things.
I also think America, or more probable, the world, will ever have aliens announced to us as being real or being here. Simply because, it will destroy most religions. If these aliens are from another planet, and older than we are, then most religions stating we are the only ones and have only been here for x amount of years, will be proven false.
Also most will probably see Jesus as an alien or something after that.
Hudson Nelson
>I definitely don't think we are food.
I only meant that as ONLY food. I'm sure they eat us.
Gabriel Long
> we are their food holy shit you are dumb, let's assume they are carnivorous, why would they eat the only species on the planet that is intelligent and capable of defending itself to some extent, just stealing a few cows and then breeding them would make more sense, cows won't fight back, they have more meat than people and they breed faster, retarded scenario
Anthony Hall
Earth ambassador poses with alien visitor, 1954 (colorized)
i forgot to specify they don't eat us in the physical sense. they are millions and millions (hundreds of millions) of years more evolved. subtle energies (emotions) are much more nourishing/tasty than raw matter.
Gabriel Morris
I don't we would find any intelligent life for a long time, we simply can't get anywhere we think could host intelligent life quick enough.
I think we could accidentally stumble on some kind of remnants of a civilization, but that would also be a while away.
Most likely, they would find us, or at least be able to observe us. If they did decide to make contact with us, it would most likely be hostile.
they eat our emotions. we are the most complex emotional creatures, thus they keep us around and feed while we live. it's a great system. no killing needed (except to trigger an emotional response: 9/11)
Grayson Long
>Simply because, it will destroy most religions.
Eh, easily rectified. The smart religions will just adopt the new knowledge to expand themselves.
>Oh, it seems God made other beings besides us! >His plan was always for us to find one another some day! >We should humble ourselves before our Lords vision, we are not the end all-be-all of his creations. He has made more brothers and sisters for us to bring into his light.
No doubt in my mind that aliens exist, it's statistically and logically impossible for them not to, and highly likely our dumbfuck leaders are already in contact but keep it hidden
Gavin Gonzalez
No I mean like you're coming off as a retarded conspiracy theorist type of no sense at all, stop pulling shit out of your ass
Austin Rodriguez
But it's fun.
Brandon Cruz
We will never make Alien contact because FTL is impossible. The distances are too vast.
>Most importantly do you think that life can or does actually exist out there in the vastness of space? It's either so uncommon that entire galaxies have no life within or common. I doubt life does not exist at all outside of Earth.
Aliens are humans who have already evolved, become inter-dimensional beings and uplifted many other lifeforms to sentience. We already know other universes exist, we know worm holes can lead to another space-time. Humans millions of years from now are at this very moment monitoring our progress, interacting with us and in some cases uplifting us. Because their time-space is different from ours to an extent of millions of years, travelling back in time cannot unravel our existence much at all. Because for them to continue existing it would mean that we (right now) would still live and multiple until inter-dimensional travel was possible. They can even be in the same room as you in a lower dimension, making noises to influence your thoughts. It's all a big reality that we have to eventually accept. Also our animals we have today were uplifted in the future.
Of course sentience exists without humanity's meddling, far away. It's just that they keep to themselves much like humans do. It's a huge multiverse, guys.
Juan Murphy
Then they can go to war in the heavens. >Warhammer is not fact.
>You are a heretic.
Juan Ross
grey aliens = chinks from the future insectoid chink isn't a meme
There is no "out there", there is only here. On our flat Earth. It's illusion, holographic simulation created by God to test us and to show the angels and demons what happens when you reject God. He is sorting us and those who are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus will live forever with God on the new Earth.
Repent and turn to Jesus.
Nathaniel Ward
>hurr durr macro evolution
Saying the micro evolution we see every day is real but the "macro evolution" (fake terms btw) isn't is like saying you believe in steps but stairs aren't real.
You're dumb as fuck, gullible as a child, and utterly mislead by those who control and manipulate you.
More and more based Mexican intellectuals everytime I go on. Wtf. And I do agree with that, no joke. More based lads from there than the spics in California over here by far. Most are idiots over here.

Show me one transitory species in the fossil record.
some aliens are probably friendly, some are hostile. but there are only rare cases of ufos killing people like the pilot in Australia or the mutilation case of brazil in 1988. then you have cases where people are abducted and returned relatively unharmed like travis walton.
Ryan Fisher
Why is this fucking meme popular on multiple boards? It's not funny. Am I missing some layer or inside joke to it? Seems shitty as hell and only faggots from iFunny or social media would ever use it.
Luis Foster
You have faith in your all powerful god of "time" who can do anything if just given enough of this magical thing you worship called "time".
< open space < cool, no one will see me < drops drawers < karen-was-here.bmp < pulls up pants < walks away < successful clandestine shitting < wtf, do chinks not have olfactory senses? mfw
There is no such thing as evolution. God created every living thing on Earth. Evolution isn't science because it can't be tested, it's all based on faith. I have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and rose to life after 3 days. I have faith that when I die I will also rise again and live forever on the new Earth with God forever, because I am redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
You atheist evolutionists have faith that if you wait long enough life will grow in complexity from a single celled bacteria to a human.
You are so deluded that you can not even understand that your belief in evolution is a religion, based on faith.
It's not too late yet to turn to Jesus, claim his forgiveness and be redeemed.
Holy shit this bitch gave birth standing up That baby gotta be dead from that fall
Liam Cruz
It's true that aliens likely wouldn't know about the presence of human civilization, but the composition of our atmosphere (particularly the concentration of free oxygen) would point towards the presence of metabolically active organisms and could be detected at a substantial distance spectroscopically since the oxygenation is more than 2 billion years old
Noah Jackson
All it would take is this guy here coming on all our televisions and saying, " Hello earthlings. In our galaxy we have violent nightmare races, and serene peaceful races, yet you are an anomaly, for you seem to encompass all things. You have 10 standard years to improve your natures, and show you are capable of decency or we will destroy earth. Thank you and have a nice evening. "
I found Jesus in San Diego. He makes awesome tacos.

Every individual in every species is transitional, dipshit. Go ahead and check out cetaceous fossils for starters. Meanwhile, there are inarguably "transitional" species on this earth right now. Look at penguins, walruses, seals, flying squirrels, jaguars, flying fish, texas fence lizards, on and on. Literally everything alive today is transitional, including you, although you would be more of an example devolution.

>Impact Depends on the kind of life one side might say why the fuck haven't we wiped out half the people on the planet because they have literally contributed nothing to civilization in history except perhaps to serve as slaves.
The other side might say wtf is wrong with us for not holding hands and singing songs together, the thought of division by countries, race or gender might not exist for them.
>Ramifications See above
>Does life exist Yes, 100%. The galaxy is fucking bigger than anyone can comprehend. People spout numbers like 1,000,000,000,000 galaxies pretending like they know shit, but not even a supercomputer in the modern area could even come close to quantifying it.
He made perfect sense to me, mate. Emotions are energy as well. You don't deserve those fucking digits, by the way, you tremendously negative casserole.

There's shitloads of life out there on other planets but intelligence is very very rare.

>irish stepdancing as a form on non verbal communication
hello ayy lmao teleport some cool shit into my room pls, or come say hi, am bored what kind of activities would higher levels of consciousness entertain/concern themselves with? fun/serious?
It's not meat that they eat. They feed on our emotions and psychic energy. Like bugs and birds feed on nectar from plant life somewhat. We condense certain energies through our experiences, good and bad, and it sustains them. They don't care what we experience only that there are plenty of us experiencing life and producing the delicacy they devour. I would give anything to kill just one of them with my hands. If they can even die in that way.
