Reddit has always had problems because having usernames given imaginary internet points will cause people to have unwarranted egos. There is also a strange culture of “no self-promotion” when the site is just 98% advertisement. This means any actual good OC is frowned upon and limited to minor subs, while the marketers just create proxy accounts to spam their shit. Mods are egomaniacs and most conversation is censored. It’s a real shithole and only good as a porn aggregate.
