Started 6' 215 lbs, down to 175. Keto is pretty based desu. Combine with OMAD or fasting to really cut.

Switched to a keto diet, my longest fast while working and exercising was 19 days. 2.5 days for a dry fast(torture). Keto diet is superior, look how cancers gain fuel and ask yourself what happens to their growth when you starve them.

The longest I went without any carbs is 35 days, that was interesting.

Don't forget vitamins, especially liposomic vitamins (live on labs brand is top quality) and Bragg's apple cider vinegar 6 that with water per day.

You do not have to entirely restrict carbohydrates to achieve ketosis, this is common knowledge. At the same time, the recommended daily sugar intake is 40g, which is probably easily exceeded by the average American. Eating a few tomatoes is not going to spike your insulin to the point that it will eject your body from ketosis, which is what the entire diet is centered around. From this, it is entailed that you will only eat a negligible amount of sugar (10g tops, realistically more like 5g, better 0g) that will not have adverse health affects on you, compared to someone eating 40-100g a day or more.

It's been a while since I've done keto, but I remember there being certain things like Vitamin C that weren't really abundant in keto-friendly foods outside vegetables. It is calories for digestion to energy and muscle/mass build up, with minority of protein foods will serve whatever purpose any other diet will, do not make declarations without evidence, monkey.

I'm not that guy, but I've done keto for more than 6 months, and would recommend that people don't go on it. Rather they do what the OP said which is eating lots of protein,veggies, herbs, and then if you're about to work out, or work for the next couple of hours have some carbs coming from root vegetables, or some form of veggie(veggies contain carbs btw)

If you want to lose weight than eat LESS fat than the diet calculator recommends. Make your body trigger HSL and use that fat for energy.
