I got let go because I displayed my skill as a 10 year journeyman and some boomer faggot above me didn’t like using new methods, so I got fired for swearing. Once.

Went on EI and realized there was so much pressure off me and I decided to start pursuing my safety officer certificate and Professional investigator license.
Almost all done now after about 3 months.
No more breaking my back again in a shitty trade.
I haven’t applied for a job in a while and I literally just fill out my biweekly reports and they don’t ask questions.
It does feel shitty not working on my off time but if you honestly invest into something worth while for a betterment of life then who’s to judge?
I haven’t accomplished anything worthwhile in a long time because work kept me occupied and suppressed.
Now that I have time I started eating healthy, learning an instrument, taking worthwhile non (((university))) courses and actually looking to start my own business.
EI is a good choice if you have a plan within a year.

What? I was on EI last summer and I literally spent 2 minutes filling out a form online every 2 weeks and then received my EI payments.

They also didn't inquire about me searching for a job once, and I was on it for about 5-6 months. But anyway OP you might as well just apply to random jobs online so that worst case you can say you've been searching. Most companies won't even call you back if you apply.
