In-N-Out is just an above average burger. Nothing really stands out about it, but it isn't a bad burger. Also their fries suck unless you go animal style.
Five Guys burgers are just slop messes. The buns barely holds the burger and it gets into a semi-soggy state while the burger + whatever in it is wet (either grease, moisture from oinion/mushroom, lettuce or tomato water). Their fries are usually on the soggier side.
I personally like Super Duper Burger. They cook the patty on one side and it develops that brown crispness from maillard reaction and it's greasy, perfect to drip onto the acceptable crunchy fries.
