I’ll just be real with you, Jow Forums is not important enough to shill on for important purposes. Most of what you observe is trolling or an actual opposing opinion.

The amount of posters drastically increased. It's a flood of newfags, bots from various intelligence agencies (JIDF, russians, American, Chinese, corporations etc) and shitposting. Jow Forums humor threads being constantly spammed. Jow Forums is the new /b/.

Twitter certainly uses this algorithm as well. Trumps Twitter feed was one of the first places this was tested out. Reddit has their own specialized version of it, so Reddit only lets people see what they want people to see now.

With Facebook, it probably wouldn't matter if it was posted to your personal timeline. They usually only start to care when you tag a bunch of friends in stuff they don't care about, then untag themselves all the time, or when you post to public groups, or comment on public posts getting shared, and those get reported frequently.

Oh and I was also shadowbanned on twitter for a few different subject, they wont let you post about certain topics or whatever....

Look how many times Jow Forums was on the news, so yeah, maybe not all "normies" are on Jow Forums like on reddit, but still, it has influence. Almost every internet trend starts in Jow Forums then moves to reddit and so on.
