I was force fed muslim ideals and quran verses from childhood. In Iraq Islamic studies is a mandatory class from elementary school until you graduate.
Now to my main point, I noticed that your hate towards Muslims was misguided, rash, and blind so I decided to throw this for those who care.

"Yeah but Iran and Hezbollah!" (Which are Shia'a) Both's main goal is the elimination of the state of Isreal. "Yeah but death to America chants!" Their hate is directed towards the American government and foreign policies, you don't see Iranians traveling to America bombing, shooting, and truck stomping i.e. it is based on political motives not religious. You can't argue religious motives. "But there has been!" those are Sunni Iranians.

My problem with Muslim society in general is the lack of moderate voices. In comparison to Christianity the voices seem radical beyond belief. “Death to the gay! The Jew! the unfaithful!” Is absurd to me as a “Christian” atheist. It’s unacceptable behavior and I can’t believe I see grown men behaving in this way.

Every "point" you made is arguable. Al-Azhar in Egypt can argue against that and they are followed by almost a hundred million Muslims. I do not care for the "historical explainations" of the verses of the quran I know enough to make me an atheist and to argue to a certain level.
