California's pension system is 1 trillion $ underfunded. Businesses are leaving en mass. White flight is very real. A lot of business is moving to Texas. California is the bread basket of america, outproducing every state. There are also large ports across the coast. I honeslty think CA is going to collapse soon though. The pensions cannot be paid. There is no money for it. The infrastructure is failing. Homeless and illegals are everywhere. Most people I know are moving to other states.

Pensions system (calpers) is 1 trillion$ under funded. There is a 'highspeed train' that isnt highspeed that is going to cost around 250 billion when it is all said and done. CA is the least business friendly state. Highest sales tax. Highest gas tax. We have some of the most dangerous cities. Our prisons are literally filled to the brim. They have reclassified a bunch of felony violent crimes to no violent misdemeanor crimes to let people out of prison early. We are seeing a massive spike in crime, around 25% increase ( see AB 109). Ca sucks balls man. The weather is nice though.

They are being replaced though. I know in the central valley a lot of automation has replaced manual labor, like pulling sugar beets out of the ground etc... I know they are still used but they are getting replaced. A lot of beaners have to drive to the coast (watsonvill/salinas) from the central valley for work.
