I didn't like the idea of weed until I tried it for the first time after it got legalized where I live. I felt so euphoric and I started to relive every happy moment I could remember. I feel like people should have access to it without having to buy it from a shady person

Truth be told I don't see all that huge of a difference between pot and achohol, and think similar laws/sense in disciplinary action would fit it well. Don't see much of a difference between alchoholics or daily smokers either, and I've been on both those roads. You're taking something that you factually will not perform as well off of and will experience withdrawals from should you try functioning without it again. Rehabilitation over throwing nonviolent offenders into prison to encounter harder offenders and possibly come out a worse human being for society than they were when they went in.
