Admitting that the founders were wrong about guns is just a small step that will work wonders for unifying this nation. Stop the violence. Stop the deaths. Stop the fear. Repeal the second amendment now.

An AR-15 is NOT an “Assault Rifle”. The AR stands for “Armalite Rifle”. The Armalite company was a subsidiary of Fairchild. Armalite designed it in 1956 and sold the rights to Colt in 1959 who sold fully automatic versions, “Colt ArmaLite AR-15” to the military where it was re-designated Asturias “M-16”. Colt then released as Civilian semiautomatic version under the Label “Colt AR-15”, which is a replica of the military rifle. There are plenty of other replicas of other military rifles, which are not fully automatic in civilian use, yet you pick on the AR-15.
