I'm a white African(not south african) and no country will accept me or my family for residential visas. I'm a talented programmer but I can't get a fucking visa and I don't want to be a farmer for the rest of my life.

White. My mum's family is three-generations african from Ireland and my dad's family is from sweden.
Working on that as we speak. The university I attend now wasn't too enthused when I applied as "ethnically african"

it is very easy to make a living here, thanks to ridiculously low rent costs (make sure you make a vietnamese friend instead of hunting on your own, there is almost always a "foreign" price and then the actual price) and jobs both official and under-the-table are abundant, and you dont necessarily need anything related to your skillset.

for example you could easily live a comfortable life here as an english teacher. alternatively, with your skill set you could make bucks online easily.

visas are paid for here. I know people who have been living here on tourist visas for years. In case that doesnt seem secure enough for you - and i would agree because conditions can change at any moment - you can easily buy (bribe) your way into a work permit/residence permit.

third world means something a lot different in 2018 than it did in 1990. There is no shortage of western comforts here.

if you're a programmer and you're an undergrad, there are tons of jobs out there that will sponsor your visa. just lower your standards at first and then climb up. before you know it you'll have your greencard.

That's good to know user - that said, a lot of companies I've tried to freelance for have already pulled the "muh colonist" racist card on me, so that's a bit tough to overcome. I have my own freelancing business but its mainly for SA companies and it doesn't earn much.
