It also would cover up the fact that while one can hold generally liberal views such as: Gays should be allowed to marry. While simultaneaously amending that: not in my country though. Live and let live does not necessarily mean that you have to invite the whole world into your backyard. It just means not going on a crusade into your neighbours yard to convert them to your position. And in this sense large swathes of Jow Forums would qualify as liberal.1/3
Conservatives are dumber than liberals
Let's turn our attention to the subject at hand now. Why does it appear that higher levels of intelligence seem to correlate with more „leftist“ worldviews? Well, what does a dumb human perceive the world to be? As that what he sees. Black people seem more aggressive? Black people ARE more aggressive. This sort of anecdotal understanding of the world is of course the first thing education and higher reasoning eradicates. The world isn't as easily defined as our own perception would have it. This is when people start to examine the world. And they find that many formerly held beliefs simply are false. Not all black people. Not all arabs. All that shazazz. A human being is too complex though to define itself as something. Define a chair. 4 Legs? What about office chairs? Rocking chairs? Define dog? 4 Legs? Is a dog no longer a dog once he misses a leg? The human being being a much more complex entity than chairs is simply incapable of deriving ANY but the most simplistic understanding of itself. The emerging identity being too simplistic is then not able to incorporate differing labels into itself without falling apart. And since the basebeliefs (such as: all black people are more aggressive) are false, it rejects the idea and the identity of: one who thinks black people are more aggressive. Completely. The individual then starts an elaborate process of denying the world around itself, what it sees, what it experiences, and solely hangs onto that identity.
And this is where high intelligence comes in. Because the „high“ IQ of leftists might allow them to perceive the world as more than what they can immediately experience and quantify themselves, but it doesn't allow for a more complex understanding of its own self. Once an individual is capable of that though it becomes glaringly obvious that while none of the basebeliefs are true in a black and white sense, the brain has valid reason to think some of these things. At least those backed up by data. But without the proper intelligence to morph its own identity according to this nuanced reality it is shown it can not permanently adhere to these thoughts. Over time it will either revert to basebeliefs or entrench itself further in its new identity of being „left“ or „liberal“. The fact that most intelligent people are leftists is not a testament to the intelligence of these ideas, but to the overall stupidity of the average human being.

These are the "dumb conversatives" you describe. "Smart" liberals are 105-115 iq and populate urban areas. The "hyper intelligent" or genius level iq tends to be conservative again.

Well thats not necessarily exclusive to liberals. It is DEFINITELY part of their ideology. And, it is part of it to a higher degree than other ideologies. But the central idea of the human mind constituting itself in opposition to the other, instead of realising itself as a something is certainly a valid aspect of most, if not all, ideologies.

Intelligent and wise are different things. I tested at a very high IQ level in Junior High. Throughout college and for a year after I was left leaning. Although the definition of "leftist" has changed a lot over the last decade, I was still very much so on the left. Society at that time considered me highly intelligent, I thought I was a genius, yet I knew NOTHING about the truths of this world. It took 10 years after college to deprogram myself and actually become WISE. Now society would consider me an ignorant conspiracy theorist.
