i have heard of that, and it is the exact same here with the Viets, and also Croatians/Serbs who love growing. the Viets are huge heroin dealers and have been since they got here in the 80's. but now they mostly grow weed. From memory, Romanians absolutely love credit card fraud and the Lebs and other assorted muzzies do insurance scams like its cool. crime truly is cultural.
funny story, i met some italian backpackers from Naples in Melbourne a long time ago who were making a stack selling weed. they loved it here because the laws were better, the sentences were a joke and they didn't have to pay a local mafioso his cut. they made more money for less risk and were already planning their next aussie "work" visas.
