The site of Solomon's temple, and the site for the third temple, is not on your picture. It is in the City of David, about 800 feet south and west of the corner of the mound that used to hold the Roman Fort Antonius, and used to house 10,000 Romans on the high ground there.
The "Waling Wall" is the retaining wall for the earth under Fort Antonius.
The threshing floor David bought from the Jebuisites, where Solomon built the temple, was never on the "temple mound". Nor do the muslims have any legit claim to any part of Israel.
