The same is true with basically every other "swing district"- if the Democrats were actually successfully flipping voters from Republican to Democrat in those districts then the primary results would be different when considering previous California jungle primary results, but the results are roughly the same. Republicans will therefore retain the bulk of threatened seats, losing 2 or fewer. Democrats need at least 5 in california to make their blue wave meaningful, and 7 is the actual target they want in order to get a workable majority of 223 seats instead of a bare 1-seat majority at 218

All across the state the Democrats spent tens of millions while gaining no meaningful advantage. All last night proved is that if Republicans properly defend their candidates in California, the Democrats will gain little to nothing. The wave just isn't happening.

I didn't think they would care this time since Trump obviously had the energy, but I forgot how much anger there is out there. Got them to vote the right way on propositions (referendum-type stuff, like transportation gas tax MUST be spent on transportation/infrastructure) and even recalled Newman (replaced by Chang). No more supermajoirty for dems because of that down-ticket vote.
They also got locked out of CA-8 and had their state senator recalled and replaced by a Republican, taking away the democrat's senate supermajority.

If anyone wants a interesting show to watch check out Charite’ on Netflix. It’s all about this 1890-1910 hospital that housed some of the greatest scientists ever in the field of medicine and sponsored by Catholic Church. So, you get that mix of science and religion. There is a lot of romance because the show is honestly for nurses to watch I think but it has some surprising redpilled elements such as graphic human/animal experimentation and autopsies, positive displays of German monarchy, drug addiction, sexual harassment and the last episode is unapologetically anti-Semitic.
Check it out for a good German nurse/sciences show that has a anime feeling at times about some dank German hospital with stern headmasters and lesbianism.
