1. There have always been droves of retards. 2. Although the average person may or may not be smarter than an average person 200 years ago, there most certainly is a difference with, say, 50 years ago. In the 50s to 70s, there was a sweet spot where literacy was high and discipline was too. Even retards were forced to learn the tables and grammar or they'd get rapped across the knuckles with a ruler. After the reds took over education, things went south very quickly. Even the difference between my school age (I'm 26 now, so ~10y ago) and current school children is immense. Children are being educated to become very demanding fucktards and little more, save for a few bright minds which would prosper even in the most cess-filled cesspools on earth.

Oh and the massive influx of brown animals doesn't really help either, especially when standards are lowered across the board to camouflage their retardation.

the reason that language skills have declined is because they are not taught properly in most public schools anymore since people started to believe that rote learning has no place in schools and the focus shifted to "critical thinking". we actually had a thread about this before and i mentioned how my grade 8 educated great grandfather had better prose than i do aside from my extra vocabulary which is mostly jargon anyway. another cause is that people just don't put the effort into writing online comments that they did when writing paper letters to each other. incidentally, i didnt go over this post to check for errors
