It appears to be from a vintage Halloween costume (pic related) but I can't find this costume anywhere on the Internet AT ALL. This means this mask is RARE AS FUCK or I suppose it's possible it was custom made. All of this is to say this is not something most people have in their house. I mean, he COULD be a collector of some sort, I suppose?

It was a movie from 1977 with a sequel in 1990. So the prime years for that mask to be relevant would be 1977-maybe 1980ish, and then possibly again 1990-1992ish. I was a child of the 80's and 90's and honestly kids were into transformers and cabbage patch and shit. There was no deep connection with that movie, there was no tv show spin offs or huge toy base for the kids to be obsessed with. Things were different then, no internet, like 5 channels of TV, some movie from the 70's with no toy base wasnt moving a ton of merch to kids like costumes. Theres also no collector base for the movie, even compare it to other disney movies like toy story or even finding nemo and its forgotten. There would be no need for somebody to keep a cheap mask like that because there were hopes of it being collectible. I just find the odds of somebody just having that mask very unlikely, it would be essentially 30 year old trash.
