It's hard to claim all 2000 years as Christian, seeing how the Christening of Europe wasn't really complete until the 1500s. But when the whole of the western world was Christened, then it was immediately subverted and turned over to people who want to genocide whites. So yes, it failed spectacularly.

It will always happen, it has happened to every civilization to have ever existed. The Christian European civilization lasted longer than most and accomplished more than any others. And Christians have been fighting degeneracy the whole time.
That's why I think we're not done figuring this civilization thing out properly yet. Obviously the answer isn't in failed systems. There are good points to it, sure, which we should carry on, but as a whole it didn't work. Lets all work on something new and improved.

I agree with you on that. Christianity got senile and died. So now it's time for something new and vigorous that can live until the cycle repeats. That seems logical to me. I get that you want to preserve Christianity, being invested in your belief that it's objectively true. But I don't have any reason to believe that, so for me it's just another failed system. It would be like someone told me we should resurrect paganism or neolithic animism, systems that were obviously conquered and subverted. I wouldn't get that either.

Yeah, but by “growth” they probably mean that their population is growing fast, hence christianity is also growing there, but in number, that share of the population that identifies or is a practicing christian ha shrinked a bit.
