I’ve noticed huge differences between sub-saharan populations.
For example, Eastern African populations (Eritrean, Ethiopian) have European-like features and exhibit different behaviours from the typical ‘black’ West African negroids. They technically are grouped under Caucasians due to Cranology and are probably the only historically rich sub-saharan Africans.
Also, Khoi/San and Pygmy people are considered “black” but evidently they are hugely different to Negroid/Bantu peoples.
So is ‘black’ even a race? Or is it just a lazy grouping of all dark skinned individuals regardless of genetics? If so, are those super dark Indians considered black?

Technically the racial categories are Negroid, Caucasoid, and Mongoloid, which are is a broad category that groups in a multitude of ethnic groups that share a general commonality that defines them more accurately than between other groups. You can define them more particularly, like White being Caucasian of specifically European descent but in a sense its still a broad category that we use because it is still useful in both sociological and biological terms.

All Americans know there are racial features. We all acknowledge it in private. We use black and white because we're all mutts. I already explained we have the same Y dna as north African Maghreb, some old mixing from Laventines, and recent intermarriages with Yemenis before and after the spread of Islam. Black, White and Hispanic are all political constructs, which are based more on instincts than genetic variation.
