I understand that but everytime I visit fit it just feels like it's full of people obsessed with fitness to a level that I am not ready to commit to. Do i really have to become obsessed with weightloss to lose weight? I have other addiction issues (marijuana,alcohol,mental illness) and I try to walk every day but it's not enough.

They say count calories but that is hard when you got the munchies or have a shitty home life..

So yeah I know I gotta change but I feel more comfortable here than in fit, but I'll check out fit again for help, ty

Diet is most important. You can exercise for 5 hours a day and still get fat if you eat enough. You should be able to lose weight just find without exercising at all by simple planning your diet.

Losing weight means you're starving yourself which means it will not be easy.

Lifting is a good idea for a lot of reasons. Cardio is fine but lifting is better for weight loss.

Anybody that tells you different from what I said is likely a charlatan and should not be trusted.

Yes, cheese isn't so bad. The ammount it effects your hormones is negligible compared to what sugar does, so if its your replacement then its fine.
European dairy has a different form of the protien caesin, which causes less systemic inflation than the american varieties.

You gotta balance all your addictions and make it work.
Have you tried intermittent fasting? You could be a little looser with your diet and eat this way. There's all sorts of options, and nothing is binary here. Good luck!

fasting is the key, just stop eating. Only consume filtered water. you'll lose weight fast. When you start eating again, only eat 1 meal a day and make it a healthy meal.

Once you start it gets easier, the hardest part is just getting going on focusing on self improvement.

Keto my friend, i've been on it for the last 7 weeks and with simple exercise (walking for an hr a day or a 25 minute core workout) i've gone from 89 to 81 in those 7 weeks. Gonna go for another 2 weeks till i go see my girlfriend in Taiwan. I'm pretty happy with my loss, i was expecting to get to 81 by the time i left, but seeing as how i lost it quicker, i should be by 80 or even 79 by the time i see her.

Also listening to some aggressive music and lifting works wonders. Go find a hill and sprint up it.

In my late 20's I gained 60 pounds and tried a bunch of shit to lose it and nothing worked. In my mid-30's I read an article about the benefits of fiber. So I started putting Benefiber in basically everything I ate and I lost 50 lbs in 8 months without working out. Basically, you need 14 grams of fiber for every 100 lbs of weight. Typically men need between 25-35 grams of fiber a day and I was getting less than 10. After increasing my fiber I was rarely hunger and I didn't crave sugary shit.
