Tattoos belong on paper. I will never get one and I recommend anyone who wants one to give it a really good thought, then think even more about it. Not sure how it works in the US though, I heard you can pretty much show up to a jobsite with tools and claim you're a tradesman, but here, you gotta prove yourself before you can carry the card... most don't make it.

You don't, this is what happens with the passage of time. First something is fringe and cool, then normies get into it and it becomes mainstream and lame. Relish it user, it's what got us where we are today. Notice how suddenly all the normies are faggots and socialists and the cool fringe people are literally glorifying traditionalism? Sort of, more people are conservative overall but mainstream "pop" culture has taken to leftyism almost across the board and in many ways platform trumps numbers in a culture clash.
None of this really matters for things like tattoos though, it really comes down to how you wear them. Most people look terrible with them no matter how many they get or where they put them. Some people can pull it off and they'll always be the cool kids of that group while everyone else is a pretender and they know it. Style is weird like that, the right person can make anything look good. That was a weird trip I just went on, not really sure why I wrote all that...
