i did a similar trip last year.
i flew to vegas rented a mustang and drove to the grand canyon and hoover dam in a day (back in time to sleep in vegas) and then drove to seattle, via L.A and yosemite, spent just over 3 weeks in america.
the legal weed was fucken sick.

also, almost everywhere i visited felt safer than europe and australia.

i had the choice between a mustang and a SUV and chose the latter for fear of burning up in the desert. did i fuck up?

If you have the time I recommend Catalina Island while you're in the LA area. Lots of hiking / ocean activities. It's got a more upscale vibe and not many poors (darkies) because it is only accessible by sea or air.

mine was a convertible and the AC worked fine, there is no need to get an SUV, i took the mustang off road on several occasions, and it held all my shit comfortably.
but the heat was australia tier in nevada around august (almost reaching 40c).

I had a layover in LA for 12 hours, so i went exploring and ended up in Santa Monica. I must not have been there longer than 15 minutes, but I'd already been asked for change at least half a dozen times.

Everything is fucking terrible. The people are shit. The traffic is shit. The beaches are shit. Restaurant menus are written in fucking bean runes. 9/10 people are Mexicans and the rest are trash. Christ, it's fucking terrible.

I kept walking along and a fucking nigger, like an actual nigger, in nigger clothing and not homeless, picked up a bag of dirt and threw it at a car. And this was in the morning. I mean, what the fuck? It was like I was in the third world. I could have actually believed I got off in Mexico instead of America. It was that fucking bad.
