Just because we use concrete it doesn't mean the building has to be shit looking.
And shit in quality too. Buildings from the 70s and 60s are already getting torn down. Meanwhile, buildings from the 30s are still standing, even though the main material was concrete at that time too. Even buildings built during the dark 50s are better quality than today's buildings.
There are no benefits here, architects are just building shit with shit materials to cut costs. This only works on the short term. Do you know how much it costs to demolish and unstable building 30 years later. Also, that debris has to go somewhere, further polluting the environment.
