Sick people make money for pharmaceutical corporations. Said corporations give money to politicians (or they are part owners like Mrs Turnbull). Taxes are worth fuck all when you can just print or borrow the money and get the unborn to pay for it down the road.

Every year the shot is different, so you have to look it up. Last year the shot only covered one incredibly rare strain and then only covered you for like 3 days or something. The year before it covered a common strain and offered protection for ten years. So you just have to pay attention and get the good ones.

I've been to the doctors twice in 25 years. I rarely ever get sick. When I do, I just let it run it's course without taking medicine. A few years back everyone at my job had the flu and it must have been a combination of confined exposure and being rundown, but I ended up getting the flu.

I was sick in bed for 5 days and felt like absolute hell. But, I used the opportunity to quit smoking, so in the end, the sickness became the cure. WTF, I love the flu now!

Don't take anything produced by Big Pharma- especially vaccines. About 50% of all FDA approved drugs are recalled with 5 years due to adverse reactions from people that took the drug.

It's not just that. You get a week of 'flu like symptoms' which are surprisingly realistic. So realistic it's like you actually have the flu. Plus you can spread these flu like symptoms to other people.

I've never gotten one and I don't remember ever getting the flu. It's possible I did when I was a kid, but since I've been an adult I'm good. While I don't think they give you the flu, I think they keep your immune system busy and you tend to catch other things. That is backed up by nothing but anecdotal evidence, but what I'm doing is working so I don't see a reason to change it.

They're only 40-60% effective even against the particular strains in the vaccine, and then only last for a few months at most. Questionable value proposition.
