Here's a good online resource for the entire Bible in various translations: biblegateway.com/
>he can't believe because he expects magic gifts. Faith is to believe despite the absence of proof. But if you want tangible proof that Christianity is good for your civilization, look at Europe. Do you really think many of the European countries are religiously Christian? No, I think there are more agnostics and atheists among them. In other words, they've gone away from God and now they're being punished for it with migrants invading and terrorist attacks. A similar problem exists within the united states. There are hardly any bible believing Christians in the US and most of the people are not even religious. Because of this, we have increased crime, illegal immigration from heathen mexican catholics, false flag shooting staged by heathen jews.
Just look at pic related and ask yourself, "Has my country gone away from God"?
i dont care if its good or bad for this or that, these are negligible factors, this entire framework seeks to use religion as a materialist tool for materialist ends
You say that like it’s a bad thing Even so, how many of those are actually practicing Catholics and how many just identify as that because they were raised that way?
Elijah Gonzalez
Also >sola fide Let me hit you up with some Matthew 25:31-46, Matthew 7:21-23, and James 2:14-26.
Brayden Watson
It's important to realize that God didn't create us just to have pets around. We aren't meant to be pampered and spoiled. We're here for God, not the other way around. Try to figure out what God's motivations would be for creating humanity. If you can do that then respect will follow.
Bentley Lopez
yes, hearsay. like your link
the bible doesn't really say, aside from not sinning. but Not Sinning isn't really a proactive goal in and of itself
Nathaniel Hill
Where do you christians stand on economics? Also bump cuz I'm nice.
Jesus told the people he healed to stay quiet and not tell anyone. God isn't interested in providing hard evidence, rather he wants enough doubt to exist to separate the wheat from the chaff. Those who are willing to take the leap of faith and live in his love are rewarded, those who cannot are disposed of.
>Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
>crash the plane with no survivors I can't say I'm keen on that approach
Samuel Howard
Jesus says share all you have , and thats what christians did they distributed wealth by anyone's need , today they do not , somehow God must have changed his mind
Alexander Moore
Most likely from the Chinese
Justin Clark
Lapsed anglican here. I am very depressed. I do not see how hell is justified. Can anyone turn me away from my belief in universal reconciliation?
Christian Hall
im anarchist, the bible is good asspaper
Carson Robinson
God did not change his mind. The gate is just narrow.
Tyler Martin
There are no other options. They're too far down the rabbit hole and have rejected Christianity completely. Trying to lure them back won't work, they're going to have to learn the consequences of pure secularism the hard way.
I am split between my ancient pagan ways. I am half swed&icelandic. My mother (swe) and father (iceland) believes in elves and typical icelandic folklore. Though they have taught me to love everyone, strike true against unjustice and deciet and take care of nature.
Is this all in Gods plan? I pray to both the old and the new gods (yeah I know, sounds like fucking A Song of Ice and Fire)
I fucking hate Muslims and get annoyed by Jews.
Anthony Murphy
are you 12? >im anarchist, Yes, you are.
Daniel Gonzalez
Sins must be paid for with blood. Hell is simply the means by which payment is extracted. Without God's help, it's impossible to pay your debts.
Austin Cruz
That is a hard one because God is a God of love . But sin cannot exist in a good world , and neither can the people who want sin so they have to go some place . My opinion is that they just cease to exist like sin will be deleted so will they be deleted
Anthony Williams
Hell is not something God condemns us to, we condemn ourselves to hell by separating ourselves from God and His will by sin.
Hudson Cook
>hate kikes >worship kikes Wew.
Oliver Butler
>Is this all in Gods plan? Looking at the current state of the Church of Sweden I would say yes.
Oh yes, that fucking disgrace of a "Church". The next election this September is a Saviour or Total Loss for Sweden. Didn´t Georgia except Swedish Christian refugees?
William Barnes
black lives matter!
Easton Garcia
>God is all-knowing has a plan >Some dude praying for 5 minutes will make the almighty creator of the universe change his plan
The mental gymnastics you Christcucks play is fucking amazing
>There are no other options The other option that I raised in the previous thread was some kind of Gnostic appreciation of Christianity as a philosophy and cultural force.
There are many currently non-religious people who will say: >look, I cant believe in angles and miracles and all that >but clearly Christianity has played an enormously significant role in shaping European civilisation >I can appreciate it as a set of ideas and values, while remaining agnostic about the metaphysical stuff
If it comes down to a flat choice between that and pozzed Atheism+ Islam, Globalism etc... which would you prefer?
Nolan Peterson
Astral projection is real but I wouldn't recommend it
>>Jow Forums is one person Why is it always an EU flag who makes this argument?
Austin Johnson
Impure hopes and thoughts belong with the gays, burning in hell.
Lucas Barnes
Astral projections are bullshit. It's you masturbating over the fact that your brain is shitty enough to make you think that you're experiencing shit that isn't real.
"these cool buildings are christianity, even though they will all be destroyed within the next 1000 years when jesus comes back! we should put more effort into these buildings that will soon be destroyed!!"
what is this logic?
Benjamin Price
Because all the demons you usually can't perceive or interact with suddenly become able to do that and you'll get attacked
Brayden Lewis
>Chad pagan Funny as fuck because pagans got BTFO so hard by the CHAD crusaders, their religion went extinct and it was up to Christians to rewrite their dead religion.
Wyatt Scott
Attacked how? Are you really saying all those anons wanting to summon a succubus on /x/ can really summon ghost pussy?
>Attacked how? Look it up. You're out of your body and exist in the spiritual level of reality, the same level of reality demons operate from. When you're in that level they're as real to you as anything is here, and they can harm you. Plenty of stories of astral travelers getting attacked and returning to their bodies injured. Just don't do it, there's nothing to be gained
Michael Hall
You cannot summon a succubus . They visit you when you are a degenerate
Fight demons with demons no thanks saying jesus christ is already enough
Jaxson Watson
I don't think that will help, friend.
Dylan Ward
>Not doing a full exorcism ceremony It's like you want evil to take you.
Blake Flores
>“During an exorcism,” Father Amorth remembers, “Satan told me, through the possessed person, ‘Every Hail Mary of the Rosary is a blow to the head for me; if Christians knew the power of the Rosary, it would be the end of me!'”
It will actually invite demonic attacks, and fake demonic clearances. Demons conspire with evil people to appear to be chased off, only to grant the evil person status in the eyes of the beleagered person.
They're smart. Evil, but smart. They know how to fool people. They have been doing it for thousands of years.
And your little rosary beads there are powerless, just as pagan prayer beads for thousands of years before the "rosary" were powerless.
Nathaniel Nelson
...
Hudson Lee
>(((Satan))): "Oh no, goyim! Don't use that Rosary on me!"
Joshua Morgan
>taking the words of fucking (((Satan))) as authoritative truth
Carter Stewart
There are numerous accounts of myrrh-streaming Christian icons, as well as miracle-working icons which you can go see for yourself. Also, if hundreds of people testify to miracles performed by a single person, and some of them have medical records to back their stories, why don't you believe them?
Elijah Ramirez
We do believe them. We believe them to be counterfeit works of the devil performed to draw people closer to "Mary".
Ian Turner
I'm open to anything that doesn't allow usury.
Gabriel Thomas
If a man does not work, neither shall he eat. Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and render unto God that which is God's. You have taken the ten talents I gave you and invested them in the marketplace, and have gained me ten more talents. Well done, my good and faithful servant.
Hunter Cox
This is a Christian thread. Please make your own idiotic papist thread. Thanks.
Bentley Lopez
And when the miracles are performed by someone who prayed to God for them? That leads to worship of Mary how, exactly?
Jace Hill
Guys, the idea of bodily resurrection is pretty goofy... You must admit this.
No other religion would dare have such a weird idea of the afterlife.
Btw, I don't know about the Roman Catholics, but Orthodoxy doesn't promote worship of Mary (or of any Saint)... we worship God, honor the people who have loved Him, and sometimes ask them to pray to God for us the same way you might ask a friend to pray for you. My guess is it's pretty similar with Catholics.
Anthony Bennett
The Catholic Church is the church founded by Jesus Christ using Peter as his rock. Deal with it my megachurch attending Protestant friend
Why is it any weirder than thinking that our spirit will be immortal without the body?
John Edwards
Because the body is clearly not YOU. Chop off your arm and you'll still be you.
The Self should not need a body in the hereafter.
Hudson Garcia
It makes perfect sense when you think about it. God created us with bodies originally, existing as spirits wasn't the end game at any point. Humanity was always intended to exist in physical form, if we weren't God wouldn't have made us physical in the first place
We are created as a being that has a physical body and a spiritual soul. They work in tandem. The physical body is corrupt (hence disease and death) so why, if our soul is saved for eternity by Christ, should our physical body remain frail and mortal?
Caleb Perez
The body and the spirit are *both* YOU. Not only one or the other.
Jonathan Phillips
So the church that believes and teaches the bodily assumption of Mary, which has only been Catholic creed since the 1950's, is the same Catholic church set up by Peter? And the nearly 2,000 years in between, when they didn't have the same belief in the assumption, means all those Catholics were wrong? And aren't saved?
Jesus is the one and only way to salvation. I don't need your catechisms or your church bureaucracy to help me to Him.
Asher Hill
Yeah alright I guess it makes sense within the context of the Bible but not really outside it and in a logical sense.
But death is supposed to be the Beatific union with God. God is metaphysical and without form, doesn't really make sense that a physical body would be able to experience that. A boundless Spirit though...
Isaac Kelly
It's not as simple as being "saved". You can't believe in Jesus and then do hookers and blow but "it's cool cause here is some out of context verses my contrarian heretic ancestors quote ad nauseum".
Jacob Ortiz
>Heaven happens after death.
Wrong, heaven is a state on Earth. >give church burreacracy shekkels >die >no heaven, no refunds (on shekkels)!

The earliest known celebration of the Dormition of the Holy Theotokos is between the first and fourth century, though there is no surviving documentation to prove this. The first real evidence that the feast was observed was in Jerusalem after the Council of Ephesus, which took place in the year 431.
