I always knew this experiment was sketchy and dumb. First of all how do we know the people portraying the guards where actually being abusive because of power. I took the intro course in college and had a professor who basically taught that psychology wants desperately to be an empirical science but has yet to be so in the super majority of cases. He also liked to call Freud a kook.
