I used to think anime was gay and autistic. Watching Future Dairy and was actually pretty legit with good moral lessons toward family values. Only shows I'm watching from now on are Japanese; Western shit has reached a point of no return now.

My wife always thought Anime was gay, and I have only been partially interested in a few shows here and there over the last decade. Even though she would have probably liked a few shows years back, she was brainwashed by something to think it was all gay faggot shit. I was watching Hunter X Hunter the other day and she started watching it and now she is hooked. Sometimes it takes people a while to break free from their conditioning.

I enjoy Boruto. It's gotten a good amount of hate but if we're talking family values that is definitely there.

So, Boruto, Naruto Shippuden, Attack on Titan and Overlord. That's all I have for now but they all have family values, AOT not as much but still entertaining.

Skip boruto the show, and just watch the movie. It's literal 1:1 same story, but cuts out all the slow filler shit. Haven't seen anyone say it would go past what the movie was showing. So far, the show is around the halfway mark of the movie overall. Would say it has another 60ish eps before it ends. Would say the best new anime this season is Golden Kamuy. Very good all around so far. And if you/they have time to watch or want to start it, One Piece is pretty decent. If you can stomach boruto, you can do OP.

Sad to hear this. I watched the first one recently to prepare for this one. And I was so pleasantly surprised what a family affirming movie it was.

Elastigirl at the beginning is talking hot shit about beating the boys, but then she ends up settling down anyway and putting her family before glory and crime fighting. Mr Incredible faces a midlife crisis, but ultimately does it to get money for his family after being fired from his job for being a virtuous man with principles, after years of suffering humiliation from his boss. The first incredibles is 10/10

I was conditioned to think anime was all gay basedboy trash, but I watched JoJo's Bizarre Adventure due to memes. I got hooked and watched all four seasons fairly quickly, and watched other anime from there.
I'm sad it took me so long before I gave anime a try. It's way better than any western media.

Once I realized Western media was going to shit I started doing research on what to watch starting with Cowboy Bebop and have been hooked since. How and why were we conditioned to think this? I can't even comprehend my hatred for it from before.

The problem with western media is that they are too afraid, cucked or politically correct to go past the limits, not to mention that its more about selling a product than showing entertainment. The Japanese don't give a fuck and go all the way, showing us multiple art styles, universes and stories just look at this 3x3 I made for /a/ a few months ago, all of these anime look different. As for despising anime, I think it had more to do with the fact that it was obscure and foreign. Not to mention most fans at the time were fat neckbeards.

I think the plot is fine, have Bob develop by trusting his wife to do her gig all while becoming involved in his kids life which in the first movie it is clear he didn’t spend so much time with them.
