Hahaha. And who made up that bullshit?

The greatest redpill of them all is that the Resurrection really happened. This is the great pivot point of history. Don't you see this? All of human history swings around this incredible event. Jesus Christ rose from the dead! Death was defeated, and life triumphed! How can anyone not look upon this with awe and wonder and trembling?

God bless.

>How can anyone not look upon this with awe and wonder and trembling?
Because it's fiction. For the first hundred years, Christianity was a feeble underground movement. Don't you think a real resurrection would have caused more of a stir?

probably some jew

According to the gospels, there was not only his resurrection but also the resurrection of many saints at the moment Jesus died, who marched into Jerusalem and appeared to people.

You'd think the Romans would've written something about that, since a zombie apocalypse isn't exactly an every day occurrence.

>jesus was a jew accepted the old testament as historical fact
>christians follow his teachings to the word
>christians are jews

Praise be to Jesus Christ the one true God

Why not? Miraculous and incredible events exist in the world all the time, yet nobody pays them any mind.

And now Christianity is the most populous religion on Earth. Wouldn't you say that Jesus succeeded in the end?

Attached: Stone-Cross-2.jpg (860x614, 182K)

I think if jesus existed (or was still alive or whatever) he would be utterly embarrassed by the hilarity he has created

From Matthew 27:50-56

>When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He yielded up His spirit. At that moment the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people.
>When the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified and said, “Truly this was the Son of God.”
>And many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to minister to Him. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.

The interesting thing is that the story stops there and shifts to Jesus' burial, never mentioning the zombies again. It's probably one of the biggest plot holes in the bible.

Always has been. Always will be.

>Don't you think a real resurrection would have caused more of a stir?
It did. Why do you think the Romans were so thorough in making sure that no records of that time survived in Jerusalem?

Found the newfag

Attached: 1525556375676.png (777x777, 986K)

>it did
>but they deleted the records lmao

I think Jesus is God Himself, and he watches over His Church even to this day. And I think anyone who underestimates the power of Christ does so at their peril.

Don't fuck with God, Jow Forums, that's my warning to you. Don't put the Lord to the test. You might not like what happens.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_of_Adolf_Hitler#Goebbels_on_Hitler's_religious_beliefs
>The Goebbels Diaries, written by Hitler's Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, provide important insights into Hitler's thinking and actions.[80] In a diary entry of 28 December 1939, Goebbels wrote that "the Fuhrer passionately rejects any thought of founding a religion. He has no intention of becoming a priest. His sole exclusive role is that of a politician."[81] In an 8 April 1941 entry, Goebbels wrote "He hates Christianity, because it has crippled all that is noble in humanity."[82]

>In 1937, Goebbels noted Hitler's approval of anti-Christian propaganda and the show trials of clergy. Hitler's impatience with the churches, wrote Kershaw, "prompted frequent outbursts of hostility. In early 1937 he was declaring that 'Christianity was ripe for destruction', and that the Churches must yield to the "primacy of the state", railing against any compromise with "the most horrible institution imaginable".[17] In his entry for 29 April 1941, Goebbels noted long discussions about the Vatican and Christianity, and wrote: "The Fuhrer is a fierce opponent of all that humbug".[18]

>In 1939, Goebbels wrote that the Fuhrer knew that he would "have to get around to a conflict between church and state" but that in the meantime "The best way to deal with the churches is to claim to be a 'positive Christian'."[81]

>In another entry, Goebbels wrote that Hitler was "deeply religious but entirely anti-Christian".[83][84] Goebbels wrote on 29 December 1939:[85]

>The Führer is deeply religious, though completely anti-Christian. He views Christianity as a symptom of decay. Rightly so. It is a branch of the Jewish race. This can be seen in the similarity of their religious rites. Both (Judaism and Christianity) have no point of contact to the animal element, and thus, in the end they will be destroyed. The Führer is a convinced vegetarian on principle.

Attached: 78759860.jpg (1024x669, 614K)

>Goebbels notes in a diary entry in 1939 a conversation in which Hitler had "expressed his revulsion against Christianity. He wished that the time were ripe for him to be able to openly express that. Christianity had corrupted and infected the entire world of antiquity."[86] Hitler, wrote Goebbels, saw the pre-Christian Augustan Age as the high point of history, and could not relate to the Gothic mind nor to "brooding mysticism".[82]

>The diaries also report that Hitler believed Jesus "also wanted to act against the Jewish world domination. Jewry had him crucified. But Paul falsified his doctrine and undermined ancient Rome."[87]

don't need to. you've started with an assumption and looked for proof of it rather than making an assumption based on facts. it's a flawed way of thinking and impossible to change. good luck.

>Various claims have been made as to what actually happened during the event. According to many witnesses, after a period of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky. It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the landscape, the people, and the surrounding clouds. The sun was then reported to have careened towards the earth before zig-zagging back to its normal position.[19] Witnesses reported that their previously wet clothes became "suddenly and completely dry, as well as the wet and muddy ground that had been previously soaked because of the rain that had been falling".[20] Not all witnesses reported seeing the sun "dance". Some people only saw the radiant colors, and others, including some believers, saw nothing at all.[21][22][23][24] The only known picture of the sun taken during the event shows nothing unusual.[9][10]

>moortuguese crowd stares at the sun for ten minutes filled with confirmation bias
>start seeing "lights" because guess what? you're burning your fucking retinae retards
>it's a miracle

The greatest mystery isn't the claimed miracles but how impressionable some people are.

It’s hard to follow a god that commanded the circumcision of infants without anesthetic or consent.
>inb4 muh hygiene

The standard narrative of Christianity always seemed strange to me. I never could really accept the idea that if you believe this one guy did this one thing, then you'll go to heaven. I've always been more aligned with listening to what Jesus taught while alive and trying to live by that. To me his purpose was to teach others to become like him, but what do I know.
Too much of Christianity is based on people that I have scepticism towards (Paul and Augustine, for example)

>muh cosmological argument
>therefore Yahweh exists
Not valid

Attached: kuntilletajrud.jpg (908x728, 99K)

>look intently at the sun expecting to see some magic show
>burn its image on your retinae
>get tired of waiting and glance away from it
>"holy shit it's fucking moving praise jebus' mother!"

No logic, no matter how clear, can make up for starting with an ambiguous assumption.

Praise be the old gods!

Did you kuffar know that Mohammed split the fucking moon in half like a fucking super saiyan? It's true, his companions witnessed it.

>We were along with God's Messenger at Mina, that moon was split up into two. One of its parts was behind the mountain and the other one was on this side of the mountain. God's Messenger said to us: Bear witness to this

This can't have been a case of mass hysteria or optical illusion like Fatima because it was night and everybody was chilling looking at the moon. This proves his prophethood.

kek you can actually accomplish this list with Marian apparitions alone

the problem with the Catholic church is that Vatican II is a neo-liberal ideology, we need traditional Vatican I church

Jesus was a cool dude but Christianity is a toxic belief system. All Abrahamic desert cults are. Look at how destructive the other Abrahamic religions are. All the positive attributes of Christianity come from the awesomeness of white people. White people are awesome despite Christianity. We need to return to our roots and embrace the natural Dharmic religions of old. We need strength, courage and honor in these trying times. Not meekness shame and slavery. We must get back in touch with nature

>no one knows him
Are you retarded? The gospel literally says that people SAW the zombies raise from their tombs and walk into the city. How wouldn't they know who they were?

How would the romans know that someone previous dead is now alive , all they have is a empty grave

amen

Jesus was just a Yogi. He was a guru. Most of the things he taught kind of go against Judaism and Christianity in general. His teachings are more in line with the vedic traditions and buddhism and Taoism

>when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people.

No it does not they rose from their grave , location unknown, time frame unknown, and then they walked in to the holy city apearing to many.

Did you even read the rest of it?
>When the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened
They S A W all of that shit happen. There was even an abnormally long eclipse and an earthquake in the story, for fuck's sake.

Yet the Romans didn't think any that was worth writing about, nor the the author of the gospel care to explain what happened to the zombies.

Did you ? the same text you copied says that it was after the resurrection .. hur dur i have no critical thinking skills

>The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. After Jesus’ resurrection,

Attached: 1503619288437.jpg (1024x768, 262K)

no, many threads prove that this is an eye for an eye board.

>nor the the author of the gospel care to explain what happened to the zombies.

Thats pretty obvious just as Jesus apeared after the resurrection so did the saints , and then like Jesus they went up in heaven

How about you read everything before you reply?
>when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people
They went into the city after Jesus resurrected, but the raising of the dead happened before that and the centurions witnessed it.

I know English isn't your first language but that's no excuse to be a retard.

>No contemporary references to this darkness have been found outside of the New Testament. Later commentators speculated about a reference in a work by the chronicler Thallus. In the ninth century, the Byzantine historian George Syncellus quoted from the third-century Christian historian Sextus Julius Africanus, who remarked that "Thallos dismisses this darkness as a solar eclipse".[27] It is not known when Thallus lived, and it is unclear whether he himself made any reference to the crucifixion.[28] Tertullian, in his Apologeticus, told the story of the crucifixion darkness and suggested that the evidence must still be held in the Roman archives.[29]
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crucifixion_darkness#Ancient_historians

Why Christianity and not one of the other hundreds of religions?

>and then like Jesus they went up in heaven
That's not mentioned anywhere in the bible, the authors simply ignore the zombies and talk only about Jesus.

>They went into the city after Jesus resurrected, but the raising of the dead happened before that and the centurions witnessed it.

Nothing in the text says this, that centurions witnessed it . that is your own interpretation

>When the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened
>the earthquake AND ALL THAT HAD HAPPENED

Actually it does in acts peter said that david is still in his grave

Acts 2
>29Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 3

>34For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Sure. Only if it's by the word of our prophet Joseph Seed

I do not see your point the bodies of the Saint resurrected 3 days later because jesus was still in hell

What does that have to do with the zombies that Jesus raised when he died?

Holy shit, you illiterate faggot. They were raised when he died, what happened 3 days later was the zombie walk in Jerusalem.
