He's given more money to Republicans than Democrats, although he's given to both. He has a surprising lack of understanding about Climate Change at the basic science level though for an engineer. But it's true. You should read him. Marx believed that capitalism was a wonderful economic system that had destroyed the prior Hegelian dialectic and had led to a mixing of people and ideas on a grand scale. He believed it was a great system, and was a necessary stepping stone to socialism.
