>a bunch of contemorary bullshit was burned
nothing of value was lost.
Shame about the building though
Yeah, it's always sad to see property like that get destroyed. Fuck the "art," of course.
this. the building was their real target, they tried it 4 years ago aswell
I am an artist myself.
YOu idiots just arent able to recognize good and valuable art
ok
>money laundering scheme thwarted
nothing of value was lost
>by insurance fraud
finsished tfy
art nouveau is dog shit senpai, the turn of the century equivalent of inverted pitch roofs and 'let's put a porthole window ummmmm.. there!'
only saving grace that building had was its stone
Insurance scam. The trash is worth nothing.
Cleaned up the 'hood.
I live in Glasgow and saw this last night. That building also burned down 4 years ago when an art piece went up in flames after being next to a hot projector. It was repaired, and was going to be open for the 2019 intake of students I believe. Fuck knows what happened this time, but it is worth noting the building next to it that also went up was sold recently:

Local word is that the art building is a total loss, and the one next door looks pretty fucked too

"Art repeatedly going up in flames"
someone is laundering money and fleecing insurance companies at the same time damn
HAHHAHAHA I DIDNT EVEN SEE THESE REPLIES
There is a lot of talk about that, especially now that it went up a second time. The restoration cost £35million, who knows what will happen now.
Looks nice to me.
They graduated yesterday. I think someone did it as a prank.
How the fuck does an art building set on fire twice in four years?
My money's on:
>be liberal snowflake art student with no future
>smoke weed in art school
>Accidentally burn school down because of degenerate lifestyle
Definitely insurance fraud. That sort of thing doesn’t just happen twice in a few years
>Oh no that sucks
Students can be irresponsible.
I set the fire alarm off in my student halls twice in 1 year. One time it was late at night and the otehr time early in the morning ahahaha. And hundreds of students had to stand out in the cold as the fire engines came (automatic response alarm).
A few years later the top floor of the halls, the floor I had stayed on, was burnt down in a cooking accident, I think it was.
And this is at Bristol uni, a pretty good one, full of cleverclogs. I'm surprised there aren't more such cases, but perhaps there are but they don't make the national news.
But then I don't suppose they have white goods in an art building.
>But then I don't suppose they have white goods in an art building.
In fact they probably do - as art exhibits.
Used to happen all the time at Glasgow Uni, especially in the union clubs / bars. They really clamped down on it when it happened repeatedly over winter and a few people weren't dressed for the weather and ended up in hospital due to the cold
Insurance scam, or easy way to get rid of listed building, to put a new one up. Most likely both.
STOP BEING SO FUCKING RETARDED Jow Forums
Pic related is "Modern Art".
What you're rightfully hating and referring to, is called CONTEMPORARY ART
modern in the colloquial sense pendant fag
>ywn live in the universe where Italian futurism became the defacto art style of fascism over cringy "neo-traditional" LARPing
>I believe in "national socialism" in the colloquial sense, it means I want my nation to be socialist
No fuck off
Garbage fires are terrible for the environment.
Another Ghost Ship? Right Wing Safety Squads when?
thank you, it triggers me when people dont make the distinction between modern and contemporary art
