How are you defining optics here? Who are they actually appealing to and is that the same type that would be effective to try and engage in other places? Recall that Hitler based his movement off the idea of stealing people from Leftist and communist groups who would come to heckle him and be won over by his speaking and arguments. Their optics were based on that strategy, flashy, the red a fuck-you to the commies. Also they appealed to the working class (which was the essence of what he saw as lacking in other nationalist groups) so they were making a lot of promises of gibs. I don't know if that strategy is being used currently anywhere, certainly not by the Right here, so I don't know if the same optics apply.

I'm curious about that general question, though my thinking is that NatSoc optics are a death knell of any movement here. Far too divisive, it draws attention but there are no leaders here that can use that negative attention to recruit through charisma. The closest thing to NatSoc optics are antifa it seems. Perhaps taking a page from Mein Kampf is warranted and using black as the dominant color like he took red to piss off the communists. Possibly the greatest troll of all time?
