That said, the following things are morally wrong because they are disruptive to societal regeneration:

Practicing homosexuality as a routine
Openly advertising it
Promoting non procreation to young people as a moral alternative
Fornication generally, to include commercialization
Sodomy, adultery, abortion, birth control, divorce, and masturbation.
So the act is not evil, but it is still vice. Its the sort of batshit things it can produce that become a problem. Some INCiDENTAL sodomy is to be expected up to a certain age, so people under 26 or so usually get a pass. Many of the things listed above are just bad incidents. Its when a society accepts it as normal that shit really goes off the rails.
But in every culture, after that age roughly, you are expected to merge with the herd. Its like drugs. There is nothing evil about pot. But there is a legitimate interest in legally discouraging it.
