I’ve been lurking for a while and I’m saddened to say that he was right. I don’t get it. What have we done to you to justify so much hatred? Can’t we all get along? Why should we all die? I think that we have suffered enough throughout history. Why double down with the negativity? We are not who you think we are. We’re not evil and there is no master plan to control the world. I think that you are wrong. The transition phase will be difficult but in the end, no one will care. What you fear is the transition, no the end result. Sadly, there will always be people that demonize other groups. Some of it boils down to a lack of empathy in the world imo. It also makes it easier to demonize a group if you have no in person experience with them, which is sometimes the case, especially in the conservative south w/ black people.
