You have no idea what you're talking about, none of the shit that you mentioned meant a damn in day to day. There legitimately were reasons why the 90's decade actually was better for most people but you're apparently too stupid to recognize them probably because you've never been in the workforce. Also >not mentioning chip n pepper
Evan Lewis
We are prosperous now. We have plenty of wealth. But society has taken a blow.
Leo Jenkins
The upside to the 90s was that most people did not consider degenerate thinking acceptable. Even if they tolerated it they certainly wouldn't go on with it, today woman will fuck gay guys to be "diverse".
William Wilson
this
By the late 60s the (((counter culture))) revolution had already happened and we were on the decline ever since.
True feminism wasn't nearly as entrenched in our culture, but it was there along with other degeneracy

The fucking 60's was the last great American decade.
No aids Drug's without prison Free love. No globalization The best the American middle class ever was If you went to war it was only for a year The draft, so everyone could participate
As a 20 something if the 90's I remember it well, but it wasn't the best decade by far.

80s was way better. Lived the 70, 80 and 90s Best decade to grow up in. Best decade to be a teenager in and best decade to be an adult in. By 1991 the tears start4ed to show, then all of a sudden the radio became Back Street Boys and Spice Girls 24/7. 24 hour music on MTV stopped with the retarded reality show where a bunch of strangers lived together. Total Shit. AIDS mostly killed the bar/disco/club scene by 92. The smoking bans closed pubs that had been open 400 years and made it through War, reformation and plagues. Didn't make it through the nanny state and the mothers of SJWs. 90 by the end sucked ass badly. If I could go back to 1987 and juts live there for 1000 years I would be in heaven. A great 3-10 songs on the radio each weeks. Streets in Berlin with 500 clubs in a row. Everyone was skinny. It was fucking glorious.
There were many decades better than 90s. However, 90s are the last good decade. America and the West died on 9/11/2001.

Part 1 Well I am about to start a rant here so if that bothers you, you better turn back now.... [Standard Rant Disclaimer]
( This all happened years after my prepubescent breakdown caused by the fact that I found out that the cute Mouseketeer "Annette Funicello" would never marry me because she was already grown up.) Thank God that The New Mickey Mouse Club and Lisa Welchel came along for me to dream about. As well as Canada's You Can't do that on Television where I fell in love with Christine McGlade. AND last but not least Kim Richards .
Well the earliest thing that I remember about the eighties is the movie War Games. At that time IBM personal computers where fairly new. My dad bought us an Apple ][+, which was the talk of the neighborhood. My friend down the street had an Atari 400 8 bit personal computer, but my Apple had 48K of memory !! Screaming at 1980 standards. And I had a floppy drive. He had to load off of cassette tape ! We would copy Apple BASIC code out of computer magazines to make text based adventures that we already knew the outcome of. Well that and play Ultima .When our hands got tired of typing we would play Dungeons and Dragons for hours. Then one day MTV came on. The world was changing. Cable TV... the promise of commercial free television. MTV (Music Television) first aired at 12:01 AM on August 1, 1981. The first video was 'Video Killed the Radio Star' by the Buggles. MTV boasted that it showed music videos, twenty four hours a day. That lasted until 1991 and The Real World came on MTV. I would spend all of my time at the video arcade playing Dig-Dug, Pacman, Defender, Galaga, Popeye and Pinball. I even remember when Space Invaders came out and everyone left the Pong machines to move into the digital gaming world. Everything was changing. Remember the kid that would play Asteroids for hours on one quarter ?
Part 2 I remember having to have those new NIKE Bruin tennis shoes. I remember living in the mall and getting free samples at Peppridge Farms when we got hungry. The pretty girls in their pink lace socks and white pumps with pink neon lipstick and plastic jewelry and mini-skirts. Oh, the way they talked too. Val-talk wasn't just a fad where I grew up. We REALLY had girls that talked like that. Everyone tried to look pretty/handsome. Well except for the Stoners that sold Pot at school. That was hard-core where I grew up. Ha, Seems like Candy Land compared to what I see around me in LA today. As for me, I had my thin leather belts , paisley ties, Z-Cavaricci pants and my Zodiac shoes. This was of course before new wave when I died my hair purple and wore 19th century smoking jackets. My, the way those people looked at me in the malls. I actually pierced my ear ! Left Side, LOL ! Wow, was I a rebel or what ? I remember thinking how cutting edge Repo Man was. I identified with each and every character in The Breakfast Club. I wanted to live in the Pretty in Pink neighborhood. I used to cruise the beach in my 280-ZX and remember cranking "Melt with You" and "Rock the Casbah" on my radio. Now it's a burger song. Jeesh !
I remember watching Boy George in Shock and awe ! I remember a party when we all got drunk and watched Purple Rain and the goose bumps I got at the end of the movie when Prince sang the title song "Purple Rain". He was cool but for me Adam Ant was God. I would actually go to clubs with my version of his "Strip" outfit on, complete with stripe ! You could actually get into clubs at 16. Nobody EVER carded you. Not until 1989, as I remember.
I moved to Germany in 1986 and started going out with a New Wave girl named Heike. She had blue hair and black fingernails. A vision of loveliness ! We listened to Men Without Hats ,Simply Red, the Smiths and The Cure and rode around on an old beat up Vespa through fields and got chased by Mods , laughing all the way. No one ever seemed to hold on to me that closely ever again.
I had 4 inch polished nails in my leather jacket and Sid Vicious emblazoned on the back, saying in comic quotes," I 've only Fallen in love twice. Once with a beer bottle and once with a mirror". I was cool and I knew it! I saw Prince perform live in Frankfurt and got pulled up on stage and danced with Sheila E. I saw the Sugarcubes perform in a little bar about the size of a living room and got a kiss from Bjork. I bought a 1969 Corvette convertible and raced Porches on the Autobahn. I listened to Talk Talk and dreamed about marrying Terri Nunn from Berlin. Everyone at clubs was fun and drunk. Fights lasted two seconds and everyone was silly and happy. Songs had no particular deep meaning and they never tried to. Pretense was in our clothes, not our words. We actually washed our bodies and dressed up and went to clubs ready to thrill (90's slight Hee Hee). We where silly and stupid and we knew it. We never took anything seriously. Life was a carnival. Alternative music was really alternative. Now the music that was alternative to me is played on Top 40 stations.
Oh Well. Maybe one day I'll grow up. Probably not. That's it.... I 'm terminally stuck in the eighties.
early 00s were a better decade. it was the comfy of 90s but with better tech that was uncucked
James Lopez
i remember christine from ycdtot. oh yea, me too. and i flipped halloween night, one year, asteroids, i think it was 4 times until i got tired of it.
Aaron Bell
Guns and Rose's are not 90s they are 80s they started the 90s strong but basically post 93 nothing. Sure you had yours but no new songs and they fought for years until they broke up before the decades end. The reason why the 90s rocked was because everything that you "can't" say now you were encouraged and rewarded to say. Look at stand up comics from the late 90s hello even all the way up to like 2010 and compare them to today's comics/society. I can go through all my favorite comedians and easily find 8 bits or jokes that would be too problematic or offensive nowadays. Also everything was X-TREME and wrestling was cool
Anyone that REALLY wants to know what it was like to grow up in the 1970s and be a teenager in the 1980s. Watch these. it's almost exactly how it was.
Watch these movies.. Torrents around I'm sure. Some are on Youtube. Watch them in this order.
This is what it was like growing up in the 70's and being a teenager/young adult in the 80's Hell you could get into any bar in the 80s with a $5 fake id. Most never even cared unless you looked 12 or something.
Get the fuck out of here. I am a product of 90s culture we were told to be degenerate. Fuck yourself buddy degeneracy is just too much fun. You be a bible thumping old fart though.
Jayden Perry
Any other movie recommendations?

Easton Turner
"Everyone was skinny" Each generation has been fatter since.
Ferris Buellers Day Off Pretty in Pink Weird Science Band of the Hand The Goonies Heathers Lucas The National Lampoon Vacation Movies Animal House Porky's Red Dawn Roadhouse Escape from New York Logan's Run REpoman Sixteen Candles Stripes The Flamingo Kid The Outsiders Just some off the top of my head
Roller Rinks were the most awesome thing about the 70s. Parents drop you off on Friday at 6pm. Pick you up on Saturday at 2 pm.. Make out corners, pinball machines and ladies choice dances.. NOICE
In terms of music in America you have no one to thank but Metallica. Yes Metallica. They sold over a million records without a radio hit or music video on mtv until their fourth album in 1988. By this time the seeds were sewn and there was a huge edgy white metal underground scene to compete with the jewish glam scene, so when edgy white bands (alice in chains, nirvana, etc) started to come out in the early 90s the jews siezed the oppurtunity and intergrated edgy white music into the mainstream, sparking some of the most glorius memorable hard hitting tunes the country has seen. After grunge this also brought in the nu metal us good ol white folks loved in the late 90s and early 2000s. Now that edgy white music is dead and the metal scene is replaced with people like pic related, we have no music our people can identify with. The only solution is to have 4 white americans do what Metallica did, make rebellious yet righteous heavy metal and force the jews to notice us, inspiring the volk
i honestly wish i could have seen franz liszt in person, particularly in his older days. just to see what the hoopla really was like. ive read that he was a true player until the end, i just wish i could have seen that.

Nice list, now vidya: Doom Duke Nukem 3d Civilization Xcom All of the Lucasart point n click (+ zombie ate my neighbor) All of the Sierra games like Caesar III Mariokart Bomberman Street Fighter 2 Metal Gear Solid Resident Evil Just some off the top of my head
Even i pirate most my music, but im not retarded enough to not understand why metallica would be upset with napster, they are a business after all. Sucks that is the hill they chose to die on since pirating became the norm in society and they looked like assholes but i see why they did it.
Pirating is grandpa technology now anyway the kids are streaming everything nowadays
Man it was so easy to steal and be a criminal in the early 90s. The early days of the internet were insane. I setup a simple looking fake porn site to skim credit card numbers and it worked. Major companies didn't secure the FTTP domains and you could just look around to get software / company documents / order lists. I was just a teenager, but I dumpster dove for credit card numbers to order speaker systems from Sears over the phone then sell them to a local stero store.
Hunter Young
> Women didn't openly dress like whores Uh... Yes they did. While it is worse now, women have always been the slatterners they are today.
Christopher Phillips
Furniture was made in america. Big ass recliner couches instead of this new shit that looks pretty but has no comfort unless you're a twig. Computers felt substantial, furniture, electronics. All of it didn't have this flimsy feel to it. I miss flat screen tube tv's of the 00s. Made in japan, those huge rack stereo systems. The current day is so quiet.
Tv's have shitty speakers, even black people have these shitty sounding stereos with no bass.
Andrew Cox
Cars have quiet motors and exhausts, it's too fucking quiet these days.

So Christinsanity brought the Jews to England? Not surprising, but interesting.
