The Force/"Universe"/Cosmic Energy/whatever is kinda of a tame cop-out. We are sentient beings. If there's anything out there, it's sentient as well, it has a personality, and "God" fits.

I never understand why so many people mention having trouble with this. It seems to be the exact opposite really, I've heard from countless atheists, in fact, every single one, that free will is just a chemical illusion.
